SHAPES was placed twice behind the useful Alpha Centauri over 6f at Naas last May. She was just behind subsequent Group 3 winner Actress on her second start and a mile should be within her range this year. Shareva is the one most likely to take advantage if the selection doesn’t last home as she was doing her best work at the finish over 7f at Gowran in August. Rawaan showed definite signs of ability in an above-average maiden at Leopardstown in October when easy to back. She’ll have learned plenty that day but it’s difficult to make a case for many of the others
