In depth

Verdict

Rupert Lamb won a Killarney handicap at this time a year ago and hasn't had much racing since - he made a decent comeback at Galway last month. Black Warrior won a maiden and a novices' event before finding the company too hot in a better race at Galway so he should be more at home at this level. My Manekineko scored at this meeting a year ago but, though he's been running well, he's unproven over this trip. SUPREME VINNIE couldn't quite hold the late thrust of the in-form Westerner Lady over 2m7f at Galway but with this trip much more likely to suit he's taken to get back to winning ways having completed a double at Kilbeggan in June.
