Eagle Valley followed her victory over a mile at Dundalk with another in the snow at St Moritz and a mark of 70 could prove lenient. Apache Gold is the only course and distance winner in the line-up and if the ground remains soft should get into the action. Beechmount Whisper has never won but was placed in his last seven starts last summer though his best form has been on fast ground. Both of CREGGS PIPES' victories have come on fast going though he's been placed on soft ground at the Curragh and looks very well handicapped if ready after a break so gets the nod in a tight handicap. Venetian Queen had the three requisite runs for a mark and starts out in handicaps with a very low weight and is one to note in the betting. Sofi's Spirit has been running well enough at Dundalk to be considered for a place on the podium.
