Verdict

Captainofthefleet loves testing conditions as he proved when ploughing through the Tipperary mud to land a handicap a month ago for which he's been raised 7lb. Runner-up Tiger Bay Lady is better off at the weights and has since performed with credit behind THE MAD WELL at Limerick. The winner has been raised just 6lb for a comprehensive victory and looks the one to be on. Off The Charts didn't run well at Punchestown last time but his earlier second to Usuel Smurfer at Leopardstown would put him right in the picture. Railway Tommy had been running well all winter so it was no surprise when he won a handicap at Down Royal and a 6lb rise shouldn't prevent another big effort. The veteran Your Busy is better known as a chaser these days but he produced a fine run when last seen over timber in August and can run from a massive 20lb lower than over the bigger obstacles.
