In depth

Verdict

Great Trango is a son of the Irish 1000 Guineas winner Tarascon and a half-brother to numerous winners though he has no future entries. Joseph has chosen him over stablemate Lord Justice, a son of Zoffany and also without any entries. Footbridge is related to a 6f winner in the USA and has to be of interest but experience may count in this sort of ground and VERBOSITY fits the bill. Bred by Jim Bolger and still family-owned, she has been running well over shorter trips without quite getting there and the step-up to a mile should be just what's required. She had Orotaveo well behind when a close third to Simannka at Galway and Laws Of Spin could prove more of a threat after a much improved second in testing ground at Listowel last week.
