EDGE OF SANITY had the pace to score over 7f at Dundalk in October and gained a reappearance success over 1m4f at Leopardstown. He's up 6lb but it will be a surprise if he's not involved in the finish and is handed the verdict. Castle Guest scored four times last summer but has paid in the ratings and is 10lb higher than his last victory. Lucky Bridle has won on the Flat in France and scored over hurdles for Willie Mullins in November and stablemate Shamar, a promising hurdler, should do better when facing a set of obstacles. Dark Crusader, who completed a superb handicap last summer in York's 1m6f Melrose Handicap, has run poorly over much shorter trip this spring and both of Lady Giselle's victories have been over a mile. Eighteen Summers has won once in 23 starts and Diplomat is likely to do better back over timber, probably at Galway where he won last year.
