Verdict

THE BLACK TIGER is out of a mare who has produced winners with her first seven offspring. He started favourite for his debut at Leopardstown but was struck into and finished last. He can gain compensation though there are plenty of dangers. Dutch Gold couldn't get close to the winner at Navan but can improve this campaign while Sea Gardens made a very encouraging debut at Leopardstown after running green. Walsingham finished just in front in that latter event though had the benefit of experience. Prove It should do better on this surface after a fair start on heavy ground at the Curragh and Highland Rahy caught the eye at Dundalk.
