Draycott Place may have completed a hat-trick but for unseating his rider at Listowel and his two most recent runs have been in better company, one of them over timber. He had Leap Dearg behind when scoring here last month while Westerners Son, though consistent, has been raised 6lb for finishing a 12-length runner-up at Clonmel. Three-times hurdles winner Riviera Sun had shown little over fences before defying several mistakes to score on heavy going at Sligo. He'll need those conditions again as he's 7lb higher and this is a better race. WESTERNER POINT was in very good form for most of last season and though running poorly on his reappearance at Ballinrobe that should have blown the cobwebs away and he can get back to winning ways.
