Verdict

Jockey bookings suggest much better is expected of Siege Of Orleans this year and he is preferred to stablemate Cradle Mountain. Sidra will no doubt be winning this season having finished fourth over 6f on her debut at the Curragh but XEBEC has the more recent form. He will have come on for a debut run at Tipperary and, with the John Oxx yard sending out a couple of winners last week, he gets the nod. Ferguson is a half-brother to three winners and could prove best of the newcomers.
