The majority of these have become very disappointing and Aidan O'Brien has resorted to a visor for A Star Is Born, who went out tamely when attempting to make all over 1m4f at the Curragh. This is a massive drop in trip which may help but she's not one to take a chance with. Nor is Mischief N Mayhem, who will be having her 12th start, though her best effort came the only time she faced soft ground. Shes No Joke ran a shocker when strongly fancied at Listowel and may not have been suited to the soft going while Barbados Bob hasn't fulfilled last season's promise. SHADAGANN hasn't run since finishing runner-up to Irish Derby hero Trading Leather at Leopardstown last September. He was beaten seven lengths but had subsequent winners behind and, as one of the few here with scope, he's handed a speculative vote.
