Dermot Weld has won three of the last four runnings and PRINCESS HIGHWAY can keep up the sequence. She was at her best around this time last year when her hat-trick was completed in brilliant style in the Ribblesdale at Royal Ascot. She's been a little disappointing subsequently but can put a moderate reappearance behind her and gain the fourth victory of her short career. Ralph Beckett sends Cubanita over from the UK and she can take advantage if the favourite doesn't come up to scratch. She may have just needed her return in the Middleton at York but wasn't beaten far and the softer ground won't be a problem. Testosterone accompanies her across the sea but she's been inconsistent since arriving from France but any further rain would greatly aid the cause of Midnight Soprano, a dual Listed winner on heavy ground. Magical Dream couldn't get to Alive Alive Oh at Navan but that will have brought her on and she looks best of the younger brigade.
