Winning bumper Black Bamboo didn't stay 2m7f at Killarney but wasn't beaten far and his earlier placed efforts at around this trip put him in the picture. Two late blunders cost Our Girl Sal a place at Roscommon and she can do better but a chance is taken on a return to form for PURSE PRICE. She had some decent form on testing ground last winter and found 2m1f on good going against her at Sligo in the summer. Metalor was left clear at the last to win easily at Ballyragget in March while Arthor has shown the occasional glimpse of ability.
