Verdict

After a promising debut at Ballinrobe, Faux Fur started odds-on for a four-runner bumper at Perth but got the worst of a battle with the winner, who was conceding 7lb. BEAUFORTS STORM ran in last month's Curragh bumper and was beaten less than a length by her more experienced rival. She looks the one to beat unless there's anything decent amongst the newcomers. Money To Burn is a full-brother to a winning hurdler while Shoot Champagne is related to winners and any money for her should be noted.
