In depth

Verdict

The Perch has gone up 6lb for last week's Dundalk victory but is still out of the handicap and was beaten 2l by Eastern Racer in a claimer there earlier. However, he's much better off with Denis Hogan's charge and should reverse the places. The latter is also represented by Mulzamm, who rarely runs away from Dundalk these days and was well beaten on his last start on Turf at Gowran. INNAMORARE won five times between June and October last summer including a better race than this over the course and distance. He will have needed his run at Gowran last month and will be ready for this. Youceeyouceecee bounced back to form at Gowran and has won from higher marks but would need plenty of rain while Pepperoni Pete's two latest run, including at Gowran on Wednesday, have been on ground with plenty of give.
