Verdict

Ghaamer returned to action with a fine effort at Gowran where he looked the winner over that 1m1f until caught close home by Safe Home. With that run under his belt he'll take some beating but POINT PIPER could have his measure. Aidan O'Brien's son of Giant's Causeway is closely related to several useful winners including Horatio Nelson and, with entries in the Guineas at the Curragh and the Epsom Derby, he's taken to enhance those lofty ambitions. The trio in opposition who have had a run have shown very little while Dermot Weld's newcomer Tabaary is likely to need the experience and is the stable's second string.
