In depth

Verdict

Mighty Blue has turned into an excellent dual-purpose performer, finishing in a place at the Cheltenham Festival and landing a Gowran Listed contest over 1m6f last month. She was beaten over 4 lengths behind MOLL in the Listed Noblesse Stakes here in April and the winner, who was having only her seventh start, has been saved for a summer campaign which should pay off. She also had Haparanda 3 lengths behind but Silence Please has won around here and had a fine three-year-old campaign though she was beaten a long way in the Group 2 Middleton Stakes at York on her reappearance. Thunder Kiss only just failed to land a Naas Group 3 over 1m2f after scoring over this trip at Dundalk and has to be respected with her yard going so well.
