Sh Boom has dropped back to this trip in very good form and was conceding a stone when narrowly beaten by Geological at Down Royal. He had Deidra close behind when scoring at Gowran earlier and the latter finished behind Affable on her latest start at Naas. Ken Condon's filly hasn't really made the expected progress but MAUD GONNE SPIRIT returned to form on her favoured soft ground at Galway and the predicted rain would greatly aid her cause as she's won twice in testing conditions. Allagar is 0-16 on Turf but Silver Service has been running better than her form figures imply and her rider's claim puts her right in the picture.
