In depth

Verdict

Misty Lady made her debut over fences in a Grade 3 over this track and, though finding the odds-on Listen Dear much too good, it was a very encouraging start. General Principle made an encouraging chasing debut and started odds-on at Thurles but found Bellow Mome too strong. The winner's trainer is represented here by BLAZER (NAP), a smart hurdler who returned to fences with a very good run in a strong event at Fairyhouse where he appeared to find three miles just taxing his stamina. This looks more his trip and he can gain his first victory over the bigger obstacles. Jett is a useful hurdler who was in touch when unseating his rider two out on his chasing debut at Leopardstown while Master Appeal has a very similar profile and looks the type to do better.
