Older horses have a good record in this. Irish St Leger winner SEARCH FOR A SONG will have found 1m2f too short on her reappearance but that should have blown the cobwebs away and she won a Listed race over this trip at York in August. The globe-trotting True Self, a winner at Flemington in November, had little chance behind Magical over 1m2f at the Curragh last week but should be a different proposition here. Princess Yaiza, a Group 2 winner at Longchamp in 2018, should be at her peak after two runs following a long absence while the younger brigade are well represented by Snow, who steps up to this trip for the first time following a maiden victory at the Curragh and a narrow defeat by One Voice in a Leopardstown Group 3 where the lightly-raced Yaxeni caught the eye in third.
