Just Sherry faced tougher tasks than this last year and ran well at Leopardstown when last in action. Ishigati was placed over today’s trip at Dundalk before returning a losing favourite over a mile and is another to consider while Lady Sandy faded away dropped back to 5f last time but was narrowly beaten over 6f at Dundalk before that. Tuamhain is first reserve and worth a second look if taking part but CALLANACH has finished closer with every start in maiden company and Brendan Duke’s charge gets the nod to improve further now handicapping for the first time.
