In depth

Verdict

Derek O'Connor was on board when DREWSCOURT was in the lead in a point at Rathcannon when slipping up after three out. Enda Bolger's charge has the scope to do much better and can reward each-way support in a tricky finale. Casey West has obvious claims after following a placed effort over hurdles by chasing home Iron Bridge over this trip at Tipperary but Loughanmore winner Gringo D'aubrelle was beaten a long way in a Thurles bumper in January. Midnight It Is could provide the main threat as he probably would have made a winning start between the flags but for falling two out then ran well in a bumper at Punchestown last month. Paddy The Horse was left clear when scoring easily at Boulta and is another to consider.
