CALL IT MAGIC, whose dam won a bumper, started a short-priced favourite for his debut in a point-to-point at Oldtown in February and could hardly have been more impressive. He looks to have been found a nice opportunity to make a successful start under Rules. Shady Rondo was well supported at Gowran in February but was soon beaten and Shrewdoperator has had his chances. Balinaboola has a smart pedigree for this and could prove best of the newcomers.
