Not one favourite has been successful in the last 10 years. Russian Roulette gained his first success on his 12th start at Tipperary last month but has been hit with an 11lb rise. Giorgi has never won and appeared to enjoy heavy conditions at Listowel and though Settle For Red is running very well he hasn't run over this trip since 2013. GLENDAARS BEST is still a maiden after 16 starts, most of them over hurdles. He made a bold bid to lead all the way over 1m5f at Ballinrobe and was only caught in the closing stages so this trip can see him finally gain his first success.
