Verdict

ROOSTER BYRON has found his form in no uncertain terms following a victory over fences at Clonmel with a 14l success over timber at Limerick. The latter race was over 3m but he was travelling best throughout and even a 12lb rise may not be enough to prevent a hat-trick. The veteran Seskinane always looked like winning at Ballinrobe last month and quickly put the race to bed after the last while Chateauneuf Du Pap arrives in winning form having battled to a narrow victory at Limerick. The latter has plenty of scope and looks a big threat while the four-year-old Lady In Lavender is progressing nicely and can get into contention from the bottom of the handicap.
