Verdict

A very interesting event with nothing dismissed. Paul Townend will presumably have had the pick of Willie Mullins' trio and opts for Sayo, who put a poor debut at Listowel behind him with an excellent all-the-way success at Galway. Brahma Bull was nowhere near his best when last of 6 in a Tipperary Grade 3 having beaten the winner earlier while Dandy Mag was also well beaten in that latter event having looked a nice prospect when scoring at Galway. ANY SECOND NOW has much more experience than these rivals having won the Kim Muir at Cheltenham before ending the campaign falling in the Irish National. Some more rain would aid his cause but he gets the vote.
