Verdict

This doesn't look the strongest of maidens so Gallant Tipp, a debut bumper winner at Roscommon last August before disappointing at Limerick in March, will be fancied to make a winning start over timber. However, he has a penalty to carry which makes things difficult and the same remark applies to the mare Tooreen, a winning bumper at Limerick before a moderate debut over hurdles at Listowel in June. Wilde Sapphire's best run came on this track earlier this month though she's since run poorly so the vote in a moderate event goes to COOLAGHNOCK GLEBE, who came in for sustained support on just his second start at Fairyhouse earlier this month but found the ground much too quick and is expected to do better in today's conditions.
