Causey Arch won twice on the Flat up to 1m1f for Michael Dods but hasn’t raced since changing hands for 37,000gns in the autumn of 2016 and is not typical of the stock Willie Mullins usually acquires to go hurdling. DORYDALIS has been placed in a couple of bumpers at Down Royal this season. He doesn’t appear to be blessed with much in the way of pace but it’s possible a switch to hurdles will play more to his strengths. It's Only A Number and Maifitz's Madonna will need to up their game and Internal Transfer was well beaten in a couple of starts over timber before winning a maiden point at Kirkistown in November.
