In depth

Verdict

Having won easily on his chasing debut at Limerick, IMMEDIATE RESPONSE didn't quite progress as expected when narrowly beaten by Canaly here but the winner is useful and there looks nothing of his calibre to trouble Willie Mullins' charge here. Allee Garde looked a smart prospect at this time a year ago but has gone backwards while Crash, narrowly beaten by Medical Card in a Grade 2 at Naas last January, has also become very disappointing. Ros Brin could provide more of a threat as she's won here in the past and her allowance should help.
