Downthecellar completed a four-timer over fences last summer and though unable to take advantage of a much lower hurdles mark he was only beaten a head at Killarney earlier this month. Winning bumper HEY JOHNNY didn't show much in maidens but made a very promising handicap debut at Punchestown where he led in the straight and was only headed on the run-in. That was his first start since January so he should be spot-on for this. Tramore winner Bite That could struggle on the ground while Marelly's second at Listowel came over 2m4f. Lily Of Dromard was close behind in that latter event but she'd won over the course and distance on heavy ground in February and looks a threat to all under her experienced rider. Go Gill Go ran well at Cork and has the bonus of Jamie Codd in the saddle.
