Jamie Codd's presence on board Bellas Rock is significant as his mount ran much better when tackling this trip for the first time at Fairyhouse. But Goldfinch finished runner-up in that event and should have the call again under Patrick Mullins while it's interesting that Broughtons Star has been kept in training as he had a three-year break before running at Straford in June. CLOUDY MORNING is 2-35 over timber but went very close over this track and trip in May and again over slightly further at Thurles last week. If he's in that kind of mood he'd take all the beating. Neddyvaughan has yet to win but ran his best race to date on this course last month and shouldn't be ruled out.
