Galloping Gander had his first start over this trip at Punchestown last week and produced his best effort to date when third to Bullock Harbour. Bobowen ran a shocker at Gowran last month which was a big disappointment as he'd ran well there earlier. Tom Horn couldn't quite keep up the gallop when attempting to make all in a bumper at Roscommon but he's the type to do well over hurdles while Knockgraffon Lad improved out of all recognition when a close second to Kalann at Cork where the quicker ground was in his favour. Speed Steed didn't appear to relish the faster conditions at Kilbeggan so LUCK PENNIE looks the one to be on as he's been involved in better class events and his recent close fourth behind Scottish Boogie at Killarney shows that he's going the right way.
