Verdict

IMMEDIATE RESPONSE is currently a 25/1 chance for the National Hunt Chase at Cheltenham but those odds are likely to shrink if he is as impressive as he was on his chasing debut at Limerick. His path was cleared when his main rival fell at the last though he would have won easily enough anyway and looks a really nice staying prospect. Miradane jumped well until making a mess of the last at Listowel in September but still managed to beat the useful Benefficient. He's a progressive chaser with more to offer and looks a big threat on his return from a break. Canaly beat the useful Terminal in a strong beginners' event at Fairyhouse in December before scoring over hurdles. He was well beaten in a tough Leopardstown handicap last time but this will play more to his strengths. Belle Brook isn't consistent but has some very strong form to her credit and is by no means out of this with her allowance.
