NICKNAME EXIT, runner-up in a point last March, started favourite on his debut for Willie Mullins at Leopardstown in December but appeared to find the very testing conditions against him. He's expected to do much better and looks another bumper winner for the yard. Briar Lane started favourite for his debut at Limerick in December but ran poorly so didn't attract much support on his next start at Thurles last month. However, he showed much-improved form behind Valgor De Ronceray and further progress looks guaranteed. Midsommarkransen was a big disappointment at Leopardstown after a very promising debut at Thurles while Roman Gold didn't show much in heavy going at Limerick but should be capable of better.
