Verdict

The veteran Flemenstar has had a brilliant career over fences, winning nine times including at the highest level. He last ran over hurdles in 2011 and is taking on a couple of potentially smart young hurdlers. HARDLINE fell in his first two starts over timber then had a spell in bumpers to regain confidence. He was impressive on heavy ground at Wexford and it looks onwards and upwards from now on. His stable companion Roaring Bull beat a huge field in a Punchestown bumper in the spring then won in a canter on his hurdling bow at Tipperary last month and looks destined for better things, though runner-up Cash In Mind didn't enhance the form on his next start.
