Rodriguez has been threatening to score over hurdles and it shouldn't be long now judging on a fine run behind Iron Duke at Cork last month. Cnoc Seoda is in good form but her one success over hurdles came over 3m and she's likely to find this too short. Tequila Lord is in the veteran stage for a hurdler but ran his best race for a long time behind Zaralabad at Limerick though he's been raised 4lb and is now on his highest ever mark. Hevelius has been running well though he wouldn't want any more rain unlike CORAL CREEK, who acts on anything and though well beaten at Wexford when last seen in April he probably found the going too lively. He's better judged on his previous run at the same track on soft ground when an excellent second to Scots Gaelic, who has won since. Flat winner Mazagee makes her handicap debut over timber and the market should be watched for support.
