Willie Mullins had half-a-dozen entries at the early stage and relies on UNIC DE BERSY, who should be good enough. A winning point-to-pointer, he landed a Tipperary bumper in fine style in May and is expected to take high rank among novice hurdlers this season. The Job Is Right has been unfortunate not to lose his maiden tag over timber and, though likely to be suited by further in time, he'll ensure a stiff test of stamina and should make the frame. Dun Scaith has been making steady progress and started favourite for a similar race at Thurles last week but found Gold Patrol just too strong. He'll need to settle better here and though B L Swagger landed a bumper on this track in June he is untested over this trip on ground with give.
