In depth

Verdict

Plains Indian has done all of his racing on testing ground and might have initiated a track double in March but for falling when in the lead at the last. Winning bumper Gaelic Arc gained a surprise victory over Flaming Moon at Down Royal and is better off at the weights with his rider's allowance taken into consideration. Dartington won a heavy-ground maiden at Navan but jumped poorly when tackling Grade 2 company at Fairyhouse. He'll be happier in this grade though the vote goes to the progressive SIZING MAURITIUS, who beat that good yardstick Showbusiness comfortably at Kilbeggan. Ideal Pal isn't out of this while the four-year-old Prairie Dancer easily landed a Cork maiden last month.
