In depth

Verdict

Some Target has been racing over fences since the second of his two runs over timber at Fairyhouse in April last year. He's well handicapped compared to his chase rating and must be considered. The assessor raised Irish Soul 9lb for his victory at Fairyhouse last month but it was nowhere near enough and he easily completed a double at Punchestown. Another 14lb will make things much tougher but he's in such good form that it may not be beyond him. Viaduct Joey is another in superb shape and it's no surprise to see him raised 9lb for his Galway success but a chance is taken with POWERSTATION, who is now on his lowest-ever handicap mark over timber after 41 starts and showed signs of a revival at Thurles last month. The four-year-old Tillahow competed at a high level last season and made a decent handicap debut at Naas last month.
