In depth

Verdict

Bal Kauto took a dozen starts to get off the mark over hurdles at Limerick a fortnight ago and makes his debut over fences. His dam is from the family of Kauto Star so he should make a better chaser. RUDY CATRAIL is well enough handicapped these days and he made a bold bid to lead all at Tramore on Saturday where he was only headed on the run-in. A similar effort would see him heard to catch and he holds Rule Of June on that run. Chief Seattle would have a definite chance on last year's Ballinrobe victory and a run over hurdles at Kilbeggan on Sunday will have put him straight.
