MIND THE STEPS may have his recent form boosted by the performances of Helvelius and Charger earlier on the card but whatever happens to them he's in such good heart that he can follow up Sunday's Kilbeggan victory under a penalty. Van Wyck ran his best race for a long time behind Uncle Taffy at Cork when he was racing on decent ground for the first time. He had Flight Control a long way behind that day and the latter has yet to recapture last season's form which included a victory over the C&D. Inner Voice hasn't won since 2008 and still looks too high in the weights.
