Room To Roam, whose only success in 17 starts came at Dundalk as a two-year-old, deserves a change of fortune after running well in most starts over timber including on quick ground in his latest two where he hasn't been beaten far. He looks to have been found a good opportunity though SOLE PRETENDER may spoil the party. A surprise winner on his racecourse debut in a Ballinrobe bumper in May, he reappeared last month with a promising effort over hurdles at Navan where he was in touch until fading from two out. That should have put the edge on him and he can take care of the likely favourite. The remainder have little to recommend them though Stubborn Logic should be suited by the step up in trip.
