ELUSIVE REBELDOM was beaten a distance on his hurdling debut at Cork but turned the form around on heavy going at Punchestown where he was always travelling well. He has a penalty to carry which should allow Bal De Rio, who was beaten 10 lengths, to get closer without reversing the form. Behind The Curtain, a winning bumper, had looked a likely future winner in his earlier starts but was well beaten on testing ground at Fairyhouse. Andalusa ran very much better than his finishing position suggests in a handicap at Leopardstown but Key Commander's Punchestown victory came over 2m4f. Winning point-to-pointer Mytermsoryours is likely to need further.
