Verdict

Groveman likes to be up with the pace as he was when scoring over this trip at Tramore. He had earlier finished almost four lengths behind No Thanks at Galway but was conceding 17lb and will be 9lb better off with the winner, who has since won an amateurs' race at Bellewstown. Harvest Bow was beaten a long way in that Galway handicap but has since gained a shock victory at Leopardstown for which he's been raised 8lb. KING OF CASHEL started off in a Punchestown bumper and has been staying on in maidens over 1m4f the last twice. He makes his handicap debut over this more suitable trip and can get off the mark.
