Verdict

Double Jubilee couldn't get close to the well-supported Snake Oil at Listowel but normal progress can see him make the frame. Stowaway John improved massively to finish a close third here last month and has to be respected and though Don Diablo hasn't run since second to subsequent Flat winner Powerful Ted at Galway last October he'll be fit enough to do himself justice. That winner is trained by Noel Meade, who has HES A HARDY BLOKE engaged here. A winner between the flags, he was headed right on the line by Sundrenched in what looked a strong Navan bumper last month and race-fitness can prove the key to going one better.
