Danegeld won over hurdles at Punchestown on New Year's Eve but makes his debut over fences at an advanced age. Desire De Joie has only looked moderate in three runs over fences but Hesamanofhisword has done better and would have a definite chance on his second at Leopardstown. Mount Melleray didn't have much chance against the odds-on Full Time Score in a three-runner race at Gowran though kept battling away but Sheshoon Sonny was bought for chasing and though unseating here on his debut for new connections reverted to hurdles and won a Thurles maiden. He should go well but a chance is taken with ERINS BENEFIT on her debut over fences. She's from a very good chasing family and won a bumper before being placed in all five completed starts over timber.
