Dean's Kitten finished runner-up to Cape Blanco in the Turf Classic in New York and looks the best of the home contingent along with Brilliant Speed, who finished third on dirt in the Belmont Stakes over today's trip. Midday has done brilliantly in the Series having won the Filly & Mare Turf at Santa Anita two years ago and finishing runner-up in the same race here last year. She's been in superb form all year and will be hoping for fast ground as will St Nicholas Abbey, who beat her in the Coronation Cup. The latter had no answer to SARAFINA at Longchamp in September and the beaten Arc favourite can get back on track. She never got involved from her high draw in the big one at Longchamp this year and is better berthed in this. The progressive Hardwicke Stakes winner Await The Dawn ran poorly when dropped back to 1m2f in the Juddmonte and he's better than that as is Sea Moon, who got a very poor run in the St Leger though he wouldn't have beaten the winner.
