Seal Rock really should have captured a decent sprinting prize by now but Henry Candy's four-year-old has been well held in this season's big handicaps and, though he's tried in blinkers for the first time, he's been done few favours by the draw for the drop in grade. ADVANCED finished a fair sixth in the Ayr Silver Cup last weekend and, as he gets the chance to race here off a 2lb lower mark, we'll give the tentative vote to Kevin Ryan's veteran in a very trappy race. Xilerator appears to be coming back to himself and David Nicholls' inmate should also be capable of showing his form on this surface while Verse Of Love has been busy over the season and David Evans' gelding successfully made all over a mile at the course earlier this month. Big Note finished fourth in a valuable sprint at Newmarket in July and any market confidence behind Andrew Balding's colt should be noted accordingly.
