Blithe Spirit is at her best here as when winning last year’s renewal off a higher mark but was behind Reflektor over track and trip last month. The latter also beat Orient Class and Lightscameraction on that occasion though is drawn wider today. Normal Equilibrium has an even higher draw having beaten Powerallied and Signore Piccolo here earlier in the month while Ashpan Sam tends to save his best for the 6f trip at Epsom. Confessional is finally back on a winning mark and has a decent draw but a chance is taken on MAYLEAF SHINE, who ran well here on her debut for Iain Jardine and first start since August and also won in soft ground when trained in Ireland last year.
