My Guardian Angel stepped up to this trip at Doncaster and, after struggling initially, powered home for a convincing success. He's on the upgrade and a 6lb penalty won't be a problem but this much tighter track won't play to his strengths. Clon Brulee has a similar profile and he's been raised 6lb for a comfortable success at Haydock. He should be in the firing line but may find SILVAS ROMANA too strong. Mark Brisbourne's filly was an impressive winner on soft ground at Sandown and has a course victory to her credit. She's only 1lb higher here and can concede weight all round. The progressive District Attorney is another to keep an eye on in an open contest.
