Argent Knight fought out the finish at Ascot last time to win by a nose and Be My Sea also returned a narrow-margin winner when scoring at Kempton. Winning hurdler Nabhan finished just ahead of Newera when fifth over 1m4f here a fortnight ago while Always Resolute, Kelvingrove and Perspicace have also won over timber and all arrive in good form. But GABRIAL THE DUKE scored over 2m at Lingfield back in March and is now 2lb lower. Richard Fahey’s charge may be good enough in this and gets the nod.
